Cardboard Firetruck Fixed

One of the most popular posts on this blog so far has been my Cardboard Firetruck step-by-step "show and tell". I promised then to see about fixing it, and I did. A long time ago. Posting it now.

I can't really explain my though process, but I figured I could use the empty pills containers to set up the turning mechanism.

 

Finally, this was done, and I installed it inside the truck back, fixed the red paper, attached the ladder with the dowel cuts. So now the ladder wouldn't only go up and down, but also would be able to turn in every direction.

 

Santino enjoyed it as much as a 2 year old can enjoy another firetruck. A sixth, or a seventh in his collection.
